The IACC's professional staff has extensive public and private sector experience in both the domestic and international arenas. The IP staff has substantial experience in dealing with the U.S. and foreign government officials at all levels. Domestically, the IACC IP staff supports members' efforts in intellectual property enforcement training for state and federal law enforcement officials, advising government policymakers on needed legislative changes, commenting on regulatory proposals and Internet-related enforcement policy issues, and serving as a resource for communicating with law enforcement officials.

The IACC IP staff activities in the international affairs are extensive. The staff has participated in official bilateral negotiations and consultations in Asia, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, the IACC's staff experience includes representing the United States Government at regional intergovernmental organization meetings (e.g., Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization. Moreover, the staff has been involved in the Special 301 process both as government and private sector representatives.

In addition to having published numerous articles in the field, the IACC IP staff develops and delivers intellectual property enforcement training programs on behalf of the United States Government and the World Intellectual Property Organization for governments around the world. Thus, the staff's intellectual property enforcement training programs have taken them to Europe, Asia and Africa.

Administratively, the IACC has more than two decades of conference and association management experience and directs all the IACC's conferences, meetings and related functions, handles all the coalition's finances, works with all vendors and outside contractors, maintains and updates all membership, member committee and outside contact databases, provides ongoing membership marketing, and coordinates the enforcement training session materials and members' enforcement reports. The staff also ensures that both general and members-only information is available on the IACC Web site and is updated regularly.
