IACC US Law Enforcement Training Program 

Virtual Training for CBP at the Port of  Newark

Date: July 27th, 28th and 29th

Time: 8:30am to 12:30pm ET (each day)

Virtual Platform: Webex

Registration Fee: Training is Free to Law Enforcement Personnel

We look forward to you joining us for these three days of virtual IP training for all Port of Newark based CBP personnel on July 27th, 28th and 29th from 8:30 am to approximately 12:30 pm each day.
 
The training will feature approximately 50 brands providing overviews and identification techniques for a full range of products including pharmaceuticals, personal care goods, apparel and footwear, consumer products and mass merchandising, electronics and health and safety related issues. Each brand presentation will last for approximately 12 minutes. We urge you to submit questions through the chat function so we may forward them to the brands for follow up.
 
Please begin the registration process for the training below. Registrants who plan to watch as a group or on a shared screen as are asked to register separately for attendance purposes. Once registered, you will receive links for Day 1,Day 2 and Day 3 which will allow you access to the event. If after completing the registration process, you do not receive a confirmation email which will include the links within 30 minutes, please notify Mike Walsh (mwalsh@iacc.org) so that we can follow up individually.

Training Format

Brand participants will be grouped in modules of 4-5 companies by industry categories. Each participating brand will have 10-12 minutes for its presentation. Training will take place over three days and include the following commodity groups.

  • Electronics
  • Luxury Goods
  • Personal Care
  • Pharma

Wednesday 7/28

9:35am – 10:50am ET – Consumer Mass Marketing
10:55am – 12:15pm ET – Electronic/Computer

Thursday 7/29

8:30am – 9:20am ET – Apparel and Footwear
9:25am -10:05am ET – Health & Safety
