IACC Texas (Eagle Pass) Training Summary

IACC U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Summary

Eagle Pass, Texas
International Crossing

March 4, 2020

The IACC recently conducted a training event under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program in Eagle Pass, Texas. This program provides authorities throughout the country with the tools to act strategically in the detection and seizure of counterfeit goods.

Training was held in the CBP facility at the Eagle Pass International Crossing, Port of Entry and provided an opportunity for over 67 CBP officers and HSI Investigators to view up to date information on product lines and known counterfeits of the 34 brands in attendance. Rights-holders provided inpidualized instruction to strengthen efforts and increase ability to deter sales of counterfeit products.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Customs Border Protection for their assistance in organizing this event and to all members of law enforcement for their ongoing support.

The IACC also conducted hands on training of our exclusive Law Enforcement Training App, and distributed USB’s to participants. For further information on our App click here.

As previously indicated, our training program is temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Training will resume when it is safe to do so, and an announcement will be sent to all our contacts.
