IACC Joins High-Level Dinner with Italian Ambassador to the U.S.

Earlier this month, IACC President Bob Barchiesi and Vice President for Administration and Training, Mike Walsh, joined other dignitaries and partners in an exclusive dinner hosted by Armando Varricchio the Italian Ambassador to the U.S. The dinner, held at Villa Firenze, the ambassador’s residence, was a farewell and appreciation event for the outgoing ambassador. The IACC was invited in recognition of our longstanding partnership with the Guardia di Finanza (GdF) and other Italian governmental bodies on brand enforcement and IP protection initiatives. The IACC and GdF signed an MOU in 2016 and hosted law enforcement training for more than 600 GdF officers and cadets in 2015. Since then, the IACC and GdF partnership has continued to strengthen through continued information sharing and collaboration on events.
