IACC Kannapolis, NC Training Summary

Kannapolis, North Carolina

November 13, 2019

The IACC recently conducted a training event under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program in Kannapolis, North Carolina for the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Office.

Training was held at a facility arranged by the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Office and provided an opportunity for 103 law enforcement officers from their statewide task force, local law enforcement and officers from neighboring South Carolina to view up to date information on product lines and known counterfeits of the 37 brands in attendance. Rights-holders provided individualized instruction to strengthen efforts and increase ability to deter sales of counterfeit products.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Office for coordinating this event. We would also like to thank the members of law enforcement from North Carolina and South Carolina for their participation and ongoing support.

This training is part of the IACC’s continuing program for law enforcement that provides authorities throughout the country with the tools to act strategically in the detection and seizure of counterfeit goods.

The IACC distributed USB’s and illustrated our exclusive Law Enforcement IP Training App to registered participants.
