IACC Miami Training Summary

The IACC recently conducted a training event under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program in Miami, Florida. This program provides authorities throughout the country with the tools to act strategically in the detection and seizure of counterfeit goods.

Training was held at the Homeland Security Investigations facility and provided an opportunity for over 55 HSI and CBP officers to view up to date information on product lines and known counterfeits of the 32 brands in attendance. Rights-holders provided individualized instruction to strengthen efforts and increase ability to deter sales of counterfeit products.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Homeland Security-Miami for their assistance in organizing this event and to all members of law enforcement for their ongoing support.

The IACC also conducted hands on training of our exclusive Law Enforcement Training App, and distributed USB’s to participants.
