Summary of U.S. Training in JFK, NY

March 14, 2018

The IACC recently conducted a training event under the U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training Program at JFK in New York for U.S. Customs and Border Protection that included Customs Officers, Import Specialists and Fines-Penalties-Forfeiture personnel.

This training provided the 70 law enforcement attendees the latest information on the product lines of 50 global brands. Brand representatives provided instruction on identifying counterfeit products through individualized instruction.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the members of CBP for the use of their facility at JFK airport and their ongoing support.

This event is part of the IACC’s commitment to educating authorities throughout the country with valuable insights drawn from our member brands. This year, we continue to train local, state and federal law enforcement professionals throughout the United States, enabling them to act strategically in the detection, seizure and forfeiture of counterfeit goods.

As a reminder, the upcoming U.S. Law Enforcement IP Training events will be held in Houston, TX on April 17, Dallas, TX on April 18 and Mesa, AZ on April 19, 2018. These trainings are provided for free as a benefit of membership to IACC brands. For more details on these trainings and logistics information, please click HERE.
