About the IACC

The International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) is an international non-profit association dedicated to combatting counterfeiting and piracy. IACC’s member-driven organization is comprised of a cross section of business and industry - from automotive, apparel, luxury goods and pharmaceuticals, to food, software and entertainment. IACC members also include law firms, investigative and product security firms, government agencies and intellectual property associations who are committed to fighting counterfeiting and piracy.

As the leading voice for companies on counterfeiting issues, the IACC conducts advocacy, enforcement training, and public awareness at the national and international level. We partner with associations and governmental bodies around the world to carry out our initiatives and improve industry and government efforts to combat counterfeit products.

Job Brief

The IACC is looking for an energetic and motivated team player to join the IACC. The Administrative Assistant will have the dual role of maintaining office operations as well as receptionist. The Administrative Assistant will also have responsibility for implementing technical updates to the IACC website and assisting in other areas as needed, such as coordinating conference calls, monitoring certain IACC email accounts and forwarding relevant correspondence from the accounts. Candidates for this position should be comfortable dealing with various groups of people, and should be organized and resourceful.

Office Responsibilities

  • Maintain office supplies and equipment by doing regular inventory of supplies, calling for repairs, etc.
  • Conduct office duties such as make copies, scan/send items, sort mail, etc.

Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and direct caller to relevant staff/take messages
  • Welcome office visitors and guests
  • Sign for deliveries
  • Accept and sort mail, send outgoing correspondence

Website Responsibilities

  • Update IACC website via Business Catalyst as needed and with instruction/guidance from Manager – Membership and Vice President Chief of Staff


  • Set up/schedule BOD conference calls/meetings
  • Set up calls/meetings for all IACC Staff
  • Maintain/update IACC President & IACC Calendar
  • Maintain lists and document copies of office and IACC member related programs such as contracts for IACC programs and committee/task force member lists
  • File various items – expenses, contracts, MOUs, bills, invoices, etc.
  • Create/update President’s briefing books for travel
  • Make travel reservations for staff when needed
  • Monitor emails and the “contact us” webform from IACC website
  • Work with Manager – Membership & Vice President Chief of Staff to set up/send out eblasts
  • Help event coordinator during annual conferences upon request
  • Keep inventory of office equipment


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exceptional communications skills and organizational skills
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative function or related field


The position will not require travel.


The position will be located in Washington, D.C.
