Latin America Training Program

Connecting brands with law enforcement

In 2009, the IACC created the Latin America Training Program, IACC's first series of programs in the region. Trainings focus on educating Latin American authorities on how to distinguish genuine products from fakes, enabling them to act strategically in the detention, seizure and forfeiture of counterfeit goods. A comprehensive training CD is also available in Spanish and Portuguese that contains training manuals, laws, best practices, company contacts and more.

IACC's Latin America Training Program is organized by IACC's Latin America Task Force. The trainings are available free of charge to IACC members. Contact us at iacc@iacc.org to learn more about how you can get involved or participate in our training program!

We are happy to announce that the IACC Latin America Task Force will be holding a workshop in Valparaiso City, Chile on August 10th. This will be a full-day training event and will be held in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy and the Chilean National Customs Service.

IACC-UL Latin America Regional Brand Protection Summit

The first IACC-UL Latin America Regional Brand Protection Summit was successfully held on June 22-23 in Miami, Florida with over 200 attendees. This unique event presented unparalleled and valuable networking and learning opportunities for all in attendance. With the success of the 2016 Summit, the IACC and UL will now be offering this event annually.
