IACC Law Enforcement Training Summary

The IACC recently conducted training under our Law Enforcement IP Training Program with Homeland Security Investigations, Customs & Border Protection and the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office in New Orleans. This program provides authorities throughout the country with the information and tools to act strategically in the detection and seizure of counterfeit goods.
Training was held for 25 law enforcement officials who participated in our trade fair formatted event. We had representatives from 25 brands sharing their expertise with hands-on product identification and individualized instruction designed to deter importation of counterfeit products.
We would like to extend our appreciation to HSI New Orleans for their assistance in organizing this event and including other agencies to strengthen enforcement activities and interdict violators. The IACC is a strong supporter of law enforcement.
