IACC Law Enforcement Training Summary

The IACC recently conducted training under our Law Enforcement IP Training Program with Customs & Border Protection at their facility in Savannah, Georgia. This program provides authorities throughout the country with the information and tools to act strategically to deter, detect and seize counterfeit goods.
Training was held for 36 CBP officers who participated in our trade fair formatted event along with officials from the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office. 30 brands were represented, sharing their expertise with hands-on product identification and individualized instruction to assist in authenticating products.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the officials at CBP-Savannah for their assistance in organizing this event and welcoming other agencies to strengthen enforcement activities and interdict violators. The IACC is a strong supporter of law enforcement.
