IACC Law Enforcement Training Summary

The IACC recently conducted training under our Law Enforcement IP Training Program in Louisville, Kentucky at the Customs and Immigration Services Office. This program provides authorities throughout the country with the information and tools to act strategically in the detection and seizure of counterfeit goods.

Training was held for 50 law enforcement officers who participated in our event that included presentations from investigators and brand representatives, as well as interactive trade fair exhibits. Members of CBP assigned to the UPS hub, HSI and the IPRC were also in attendance. 

We had representatives from 36 brands sharing their expertise with hands-on product identification and individualized instruction designed to deter importation of counterfeit products.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the leadership and officials at HSI-Louisville and CBP for their assistance in organizing this event to assist in strengthening enforcement activities and interdict violators. The IACC is a strong supporter of law enforcement.
