Largest Italian Trade Association to Join Forces with IACC

The IACC is pleased to announce it has established a partnership with the Confindustria Moda, which was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The signing took place on December 4, 2018 at Confindustria Moda headquarters in Milan. The agreement links the largest Italian trade association with the oldest and largest international anti-counterfeiting organization. The two organizations agree to enhance communication and share information related to IP enforcement.

“These two organizations joining forces present unparalleled opportunities to fight fakes on the international stage.” Said IACC President, Bob Barchiesi, “Confindustria Moda’s local expertise and diverse membership community combined with the IACC’s international partnerships will elevate our mutual efforts to new heights.”

While in Italy, the IACC also furthered its partnerships with two of Italy’s police forces, the Guardia di Finanza and Carabinieri, by meeting to discuss expansions to their training and operational initiatives. The IACC will provide additional details as their plans unfold.
