IACC Member Engagement Groups

Participate in the IACC and make a difference!

IWGs, Regional Task Forces, and Advisory Groups provide important ways through which IACC members can engage within the IACC community to share and collaborate on counterfeiting and piracy issues. They are also key channels through which the IACC can understand and act upon common issues of concern to members. These groups are open to IACC members only.

Industry Working Groups (IWGs)

These groups provide opportunities for our brand members to identify and discuss issues of concern regarding counterfeiting and piracy relevant to their industry. Specific IWGs will be formed based upon brand interest. There has been sufficient rights-holder interest in forming IWGs for the following industries:

  • Cosmetics and Personal Care
  • Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices
  • Electronics
  • Content and Media
  • Apparel and Footwear
  • Fashion Accessories

If you are a rights-holder member and your respective industry is not represented above, please contact Candice Li-Uzoigwe at iacc@iacc.org. The IACC will consider all IWG recommendations, however there must be a sufficient number of companies interested in the industry in order to form the group.

Regional Task Forces (TFs)

Task Forces have been created to 1) find solutions to issues raised by IWGs relevant to the respective regions, and 2) inform IWGs and IACC regarding additional issues and solutions for consideration. Current Regional Task Forces are:

  • North America
  • Latin America
  • Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
  • Asia
  • Internet

Advisory Groups (AGs)

Advisory Groups will work with the IACC on special projects and topics in coordination with the IWGs and Task Forces. Current Advisory Groups are:

  • Investigative
  • Product Security
  • Latin America
